NATSAR AI

How it works

Monitor. Detect. Alert. In seconds.

Three steps, shared by both product lines. Sensors keep watch, on-site AI makes the call, and the right person gets a clear alert with the location and the reason.

The three steps

  1. Monitor

Existing cameras cover the spaces where cameras belong. For fall detection, a no-lens radar sensor covers private rooms. Continuous watch, day and night, even in total darkness.

  2. Detect

On-site AI analyzes the feed in real time and recognizes the event that matters: a genuine fall, or a visible weapon. Raw video and sensor data stay in the building.

  3. Alert

The right person is notified in seconds with the location and a plain-English reason. For fall detection, borderline cases can be verified by a trained person before anyone is dispatched.

Fall detection

Cameras where privacy allows. Radar where it does not.

Common areas use the cameras already on the wall. Bedrooms and bathrooms use a radar sensor with no lens that physically cannot form an image. Alerts reach caregivers in seconds and can integrate with nurse-call or EHR after go-live. A residential option covers a parent at home.

Weapon detection

The cameras you already have, watching for the thing you fear most.

Natsar AI connects to the cameras you already have, analyzes live video for visible weapons, and alerts security teams with a snapshot and the camera location. Runs on your own edge device. No facial recognition.

Earning the alert

An alert is only useful if people trust it.

Nuisance alarms are the reason monitoring systems get ignored. That is why fall detection runs in shadow mode first, measures false alarms per resident-day in your building, and only goes live when the number is right. Weapon detection delivers every alert with the camera location and visual context so a security team can confirm in seconds.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Where does the AI run?

On-site, on an edge device or appliance in your building. Raw video and sensor data never leave the building.

What hardware does Natsar AI run on?

An on-site edge device with GPU acceleration. For fall detection, Natsar AI provides the appliance and installs it in your building. For weapon detection, the downloadable Edge version runs as a container on your own edge device and uses a GPU when one is available.

How fast is an alert?

Seconds. The system is built so the alert reaches the right person before the next scheduled check, not after it.

What does an alert contain?

The location (room or camera) and a plain-English reason. Weapon detection alerts include visual context so the team can confirm what was seen.

Do we need new cameras?

Usually not. Both lines connect to the standard camera feeds you already have. Fall detection adds a no-lens radar sensor only for private rooms.
