The sensor matches the zone
A camera only where privacy allows: corridors, dining rooms, day rooms. A sensor with no lens where it does not: bedrooms and bathrooms.
Radar cannot form an image
The private-room sensor has no lens. It physically cannot produce a recognizable picture of a person. It sees a fall through steam and total darkness, never a face.
Detection runs on-site
All detection runs on the appliance in your building. Raw video and sensor data never leave the building.
No facial recognition
Neither product line identifies people. Fall detection watches for falls. Weapon detection watches for weapons. No biometric databases, ever.
Minimal data, audited access
Only small events and short clips, from common areas only, ever reach the cloud. We sign a Business Associate Agreement, encrypt per facility, and audit every access.
Honest limits, in writing
Before go-live we put exactly what each sensor can and cannot see in writing, so families, staff, and surveyors get the same honest answer.

Questions families and surveyors ask
Is there a camera in the bedroom?
No. Bedrooms and bathrooms use a radar sensor with no lens. It physically cannot form a recognizable image. Cameras are used only in common areas such as corridors, dining rooms, and day rooms.
Where is the video stored?
Detection runs on-site, on the appliance in your building. Raw video and sensor data never leave the building. Only small events and short clips from common areas ever reach the cloud, and only when configured that way.
Is Natsar AI HIPAA-ready?
We sign a Business Associate Agreement, minimize data to events and room references, encrypt per facility, and audit every access.
Does Natsar AI use facial recognition?
No. Neither product line identifies individuals or keeps biometric data.
What do families receive in writing?
A plain-English description of which sensor is in which room, what each sensor can and cannot see, and how alerts are handled. Honest limits are part of how we earn a family's yes.
